Wimuu was started as a project by Aaron Andreis and David Buchschwenter from Italy. It all started in 2012 when Aaron and David founded Datic and built Webkit4u.
In 2014 Alexander Koch joined the team and the development of Wimuu began as the natural evolution of Webkit4u.
The WIMUU headquarters were shortly located in the TIS Innovation Park in Bolzano, Italy and the company was incorporated in 2017 and we now have offices in Bolzano, Italy and Munich, Germany.
